An Archival Quality Reproduction of the Original Acrylic on Wooden Panel Painting that I made to be used for the cover of "The Earth Years", the prophetically titled album from Totnes based Psych/Prog/Pop outfit, Magic Bus.
This was my first new completed painting for some years and so the process itself was a steep learning curve, presenting many challenges and advantages in equal measure and resulting in some completely new ways of approaching image making! I found the possibility of building up layers of colour and working with areas of transparency particularly exciting and a valuable exercise in pushing my own self-imposed boundaries and notions of what is "allowed".
